Whiteface Mountain

Whiteface Mountain rises above the Adirondacks near Lake Placid, New York, offering sweeping mountain-and-lake views that make it a dramatic setting for weddings and celebrations. Couples can reach their ceremony by a scenic gondola ride or a drive up the Veterans' Memorial Highway to a mountaintop overlook, letting the surrounding high peaks and Champlain Valley serve as the backdrop. The mountain offers two ceremony locations: a summit spot along the Veterans' Memorial Highway suited to intimate gatherings of 40 guests or fewer, and Little Whiteface, reached by gondola, which accommodates up to 200 with 360-degree views of the Adirondacks. Receptions move to the base area, where the Cloudspin Bar & Grill and its adjoining Bar Deck host the party. On-site catering ranges from a casual Adirondack Backyard BBQ to elevated chef-attended carving stations, with menus tailored to each couple's taste and budget.
