Windriver

WindRiver is an 800-acre gated community on Tellico Lake in East Tennessee, built around a championship golf course designed by Bob Cupp and a 222-slip marina on the lake's 16,000 acres. The setting includes 30 miles of trails and Brightwater Park, a six-acre lakefront peninsula with panoramic water views. For gatherings, the community's spaces include Citico's Restaurant inside the Lakeside Inn, which pairs lakeside views with seasonal, locally-sourced menus and a private lounge with a fireplace and shoreline fire pit access. Nearby, the Lakeside Lawn offers a manicured setting for cocktail receptions and buffets, while the WindRiver Club recreation complex — with its pool, tennis, and pickleball courts — is anchored by an outdoor event lawn. Citico's catering team builds custom menus, from plated dinners to buffets and hors d'oeuvres, tailored to the tone of each event.
