Woodrow Hall

Originally constructed in 1914 as a Masonic lodge in Birmingham's Woodlawn community, Woodrow Hall has been carefully restored to preserve its vintage character while adding modern conveniences. The building's exposed brick, high ceilings, century-old wood floors, and hand-hewn beams create a distinctive backdrop for a wide range of events — from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. Three event spaces span the second and third floors, accommodating groups of 25 to 200 seated guests, or up to 400 for standing receptions. The Azalea Room and Magnolia Room share the second floor, suited to smaller affairs and private functions, while the Compass Ballroom on the third floor serves as the venue's signature space for weddings, receptions, and corporate events. Woodrow Hall offers all-inclusive event packages that cover catering, custom cake and treat design, floral arrangements, event coordination, and bartending services. A large foyer with exposed brick, elevator access, and on-site parking for 75 vehicles round out the facility's offerings. The venue is located at 5504 1st Avenue North, about seven minutes from downtown Birmingham.
