Yesterday Spaces

Yesterday Spaces is a wedding and event venue set on a 70-acre working farm in Leicester, North Carolina, about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. The property has been rooted in the Blue Ridge Mountain landscape for well over a century, and that history shapes the character of every celebration held there. Events unfold across several distinct spaces: an outdoor Ceremony Field with mountain views, the historic Dairy Barn for indoor ceremonies or pre-ceremony gatherings, a Reception Hall that opens onto two 60-foot decks and a cocktail garden for dinner and dancing, and a large Event Field with a bonfire ring. The surrounding farmland is actively cultivated by Gaining Ground Farm using sustainable, organic practices — an uncommon backdrop that lends the property a working authenticity few venues can offer. On-site lodging is available in a fully restored 1911 Farmhouse that accommodates up to 13 guests, making Yesterday Spaces a destination for a full wedding weekend rather than just a single day.
