Angela Hughes Zokan Art

While I valued many things as I was growing up, nothing topped the significance of the tiny yellow paint set and brush. The fact that I was instantly absorbed and taken to the location of my choice with the one stroke of a brush mattered more than whether all the colors blended together or the paints were shattered. At Rollings School of the Arts, Summerville High School, and the University of South Carolina, where I earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art Education and Interdisciplinary Masters of Art, my love of the arts only grew. From the Flowertown Festival, Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Charleston's Artist Guild, SC State Fair, Tapp's Art Center, and Artista Vista, my artwork has been shown all across South Carolina. My art is typically autobiographical and changes as I go through different phases of life. I consider myself a painter, but I frequently incorporate other concepts and materials into my works of art. This spirit of experimentation is really essential to me and keeps things interesting. Please allow me to make something special just for you!
