BE Videography

We're Angie and Brooks, and we're all about the vibe. Both of us grew up with a camera in our hands. Angie was always the one piecing together stories and making skits with her friends, or filming home videos of the people she cared about the most. Using video to express herself became a means for her to communicate her love for people and things she couldn't put into words. Brooks has always had a knack for shooting breathtaking images. He would make skiing and skate videos of himself and his pals, having come from the extreme sports world. Years later, he used such abilities to make cinematic travel films. When we first met to film weddings, we decided to combine our passions for narrative and cinematic imagery to develop BE Videography. Brooks was filming a wedding and Angie was a bridesmaid, so we met for the first time there. We didn't meet again until a year later, over coffee, to discuss our shared passion for video. A twenty-minute discussion on movies quickly devolved into a three-hour discussion about our favorite bands, places we wanted to see around the world, and a hundred other things we discovered we shared. We started filming together the following wedding season. Our shared interest drew us together, but being surrounded by so much love on wedding days may have been the final push we needed to declare our secret feelings on each other one summer night after a wedding.
