On a rooftop in Berkeley, California, Bluma grows hyperlocal, certified-organic flowers. We endeavor to give stunning, one-of-a-kind flowers to our consumers. Most importantly, we want to welcome newcomers to the floral and farming worlds and show them that flowers don't have to be the same as you've seen before. A large number of pollinators and insects visit Bluma Farm to dine on the nectar and pollen. By purchasing our flowers, you are assisting in the preservation of biodiversity by supporting ultra local, sustainable, and organic agriculture! In Yiddish, the word bluma means "flower." I decided to name the farm after a historical figure in my family. I am dedicated to cultivating high-quality flowers in a sustainable, ecological, and organic manner. Bluma Farm practices soil conservation, biological variety, water conservation, and conservation tillage. I am dedicated to assisting in the revitalization of local agriculture. I'm hoping that by relocating my farm to the city, I'll be able to invite more people to come see what I'm doing! Bluma supports a large number of pollinators and insects that come to feed on the nectar and pollen by growing flowers. Flowers play an important role in our ecosystem. Bluma is maintaining biodiversity by cultivating over 60 different plant species. By growing flowers to seed, I aim to preserve some of our seed legacy.
