Brian Samuels Photography

My name is Brian, and I work as a culinary photographer in the Boston area. Since 2010, I have worked as a food and beverage photographer for a variety of clients, including restaurants, publications, cookbooks, and national food companies. My goal is to showcase each meal in its most aesthetically pleasing shape by making use of lighting and styling techniques. There's a tale to be told about each and every food and beverage. When I take on a food photography project, I work closely with the client to determine the most effective way to convey the subject's narrative through the photographs that we produce together. My work has been highlighted in a variety of media, including but not limited to: Bon Appetit, Boston Magazine, Thrillist, Sunday Morning on CBS, Saveur, Edible Boston, North Shore Magazine, and many others. Since 2016, I have been working at The Food Lens as both the Lead Photographer and the Director of Photography.
