We understand what it's like to be frustrated by the limited number of alternatives available for LGBTQ+ celebration materials and the inability to locate what you're looking for with ease. It is common knowledge that the event business, and weddings in particular, primarily serve the needs of heteronormative society. If you've ever shopped for decorations and favors for a special occasion, you've probably realized that there aren't always a lot of options available. We want you to enjoy yourself while putting together an important event, and we want you to feel supported in the process of turning your idea into a reality. My wife and I were married in 2019, and during the planning process, we noticed that our town was underrepresented when it came to event décor and supplies. This made it difficult for us to design the wedding of our dreams. It was difficult to track down products that catered to two ladies (or two guys). In the end, we decided to purchase a "Mrs. & Mrs." chair back set by purchasing two separate packages of "Mr. & Mrs." merchandise. And out of that same feeling of helplessness, the concept for the brand was conceived! At Dash of Pride, it is our goal to provide a friendly environment in which you are free to browse, make plans for, and build your own life.
