Raquel Vasquez, the proprietor of Exquisite Details as well as its designer, was born in Mexico City but migrated to Houston in 1986. There, she completed her high school education. When Raquel was a small child, she loved playing with her dolls and would create elaborate environments for them out of everything she could get her hands on. Her creative mind and ability were one of a kind and distinctive. She did not discover who she was supposed to be until years later, when she was an adult, and she was serving and volunteering in the church that she attended. Her artistic ability was stretched to its limit over the course of several years as a result of her taking the lead in events and making decorations on a budget.
