Hi there! I’m Brittney, you can call me Britt if you’d like! I’m a wife, mother of 2, & your new wedding/event day go-to! I am the event/wedding planner you need! Your connection and answer for everything wedding, the one who straightens the train of your dress, fixes your veil, checks your hair and makeup & assures your loved ones that everything is going to be flawless while executing just that. I have been fortunate to work with some of the most talented professionals in the industry and am happy to share their knowledge & expertise with you. Working within venues, I have working relationships with all of the vendors I recommend and can attest to the quality of work they bring to the table. From DJs, bands, photography, videography, lighting, florists, bakeries, furniture rentals, floral walls, linen, stationary, classic cars, performers, magicians & many more. In 2015 I started a job at a venue in Southeast Michigan called the Italian American Cultural Society, also known as IACS. Haven’t heard of it? Search for them on The Knot, Wedding Wire or Google. “A hidden gem” is how I described IACS to Blaine Fowler on 96.3 during a morning interview in March of 2018. Through my time at the IACS I worked thousands of events, approximately 250 weddings, 500 baby & bridal showers & coordinated 75 onsite rehearsals & ceremonies. This is where my passion and drive to execute the perfect wedding day came into play. In January of 2019 I launched Great Lakes Event Planning, I couldn’t be more excited to share my passion and expertise with my clients. I have had the honor to work at 40+ local venues in Metro Detroit during the last 4 years & meet what seems like almost every wedding vendor in this area! I look forward to helping you have an organized wedding day & for you to feel relaxed during the process!
