We are known for creating grace-filled, bespoke weddings and celebrations, along with well-executed. mission driven conferences and meetings for our clients. Our team of event professionals have experience planning high-level events, successful fundraisers and gorgeous weddings ranging in size from 20 to 10,000+ guests. We provide our clients with a highly, personalized service. We believe our clients should feel comfortable calling us to discuss their needs without the worry of an additional expense. We primarily serve the Washington DC Metropolitan Area (otherwise known as the DMV), but our team has experience planning amazing events throughout the continental U.S., Eastern Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. What event planning services do you offer?
We are a full-service event management agency. Our meeting planning team plans conferences, retreats, fundraising galas and legislative fly-ins. Our social events team plans weddings, engagement parties and birthday parties.
How many years have you been in business?
Howerton+Wooten Events launched in 2007. Our team of professional event planners bring a combined 30+ years of event management experience to our clients.
What makes your planning style unique?
Our style is high touch. We don't just "work" on events - We believe we take care of our clients. We get to know them to understand what's important to them and what keeps them up at night. Then, we use our experience, our knowledge and our connections to carry out every aspect of their event.
How many people from your team will be on-site during my event?
The size of our on-site team depends upon the scope of the event production, the number of guests/attendees, the length of the event, and our clients' overall expectations. Rest assured, we are well-staffed and ready to take excellent care of every event we plan.
What venues have you worked at before?
Too many to count! We have worked in numerous event venues in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and Baltimore. Also, members of the Howerton+Wooten Events team have taken excellent care of conferences, weddings and events in 41 of the 50 U.S. states, and events in Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.
