Annmarie is from a military family that was stationed in Louisiana and didn't want to leave since they loved it so much! She was born in Wisconsin and raised in Michigan. Since 2013, Annmarie has designed events from Lake Charles to New Orleans as a wedding and event florist. She specializes in whimsical, garden-inspired arrangements and currently resides in Baton Rouge with her husband and two dogs. In my family, hummingbirds have always held a special place. They were so cherished by my maternal grandmother that she planted particular flowers in her yard to draw them. I attribute my intense love of flowers to her. They still swarm to my father's feeders even though his garden isn't as abundant as my grandmother's was. My father is now carrying on the tradition.
