The LaBella family has been providing food for families in New Orleans and elsewhere since 1966. The foundation for this 44-year-old family legacy was built by Papa Joe LaBella's ambition to establish a local butcher shop. The LaBella family business has expanded significantly since the mid-1960s, yet it has maintained the "local" friendliness that Papa Joe established all those years ago. Every moment a customer enters the front door and is greeted with a friendly grin, this hospitality is immediately felt. 2018 saw the acquisition of LaBella's Catering by Jennifer LaBella-Tusa, Nancy Gaspard, and Leslie Maira Gaspard. The expectations of and commitment to consumers that have been made since 1966 will be upheld by this new generation of LaBella's. They provide exclusive on-site food at The Crossing, their event location located in Kenner's Historic Rivertown, in addition to full-service off-site catering.
