Lily & Cane

My name is Sherine, owner, dreamer, creator. Though I didn't begin my career as a stylist, design and creativity have always been a part of who I am. I started out in branding. I was a marketing director before starting Lily & Cane and getting into event rentals. I worked on client events, business culture, and branding. I first fell in love with the events industry while organizing one of our events, and it was then that I realized I could fill a little gap in the market by offering Portland's events sector fresh, innovative, and high-quality options. We have a vision for the type of furniture you, our client, should have at your fantastic event, and if we can't find it, we will manufacture it. Making furniture to order is difficult. However, I begin with a sketch, jot down some specifications, and then begin testing. Trying different wood types and stain colors, for instance. Following that, we look for the best local talent to create it for us. AND REPEAT, until we get it right.
