What happens when great friends start a company and intend to laugh hard every day? RumbleDrum, of course. Todd had spent 25 years as an architect working with some great people and incredible companies. Joe had worked with events through non-profits, small business, large corporate, government and education – and after owning his own company for several years, he was ready to start something new. After several cups of coffee, lunches and breakfasts – it was a simple text message from Todd that ignited the idea of starting something new. When people meet the creative duo, they do not believe that Joe is the introvert and Todd is the out-going one — Once you’ve been around them awhile and you see Todd in the middle of the people and Joe huddled in the corner with his laptop and drinking Diet Coke, it all starts to make sense. As they were launching RumbleDrum, they divided responsibilities by saying that Joe is words and Todd is numbers — numbers include dates and times and dollars — and words are words—lots of them. Together, they bring a fun but practical approach to the event world. They think through every detail from layout including fire egress and ADA standards to how guests “feel” when they walk in the room. Getting to know them is an adventure. For best results be sure to learn some of their “rules” like not letting Joe meet with humans before 9:30 in the morning and providing Todd a steady supply of dark chocolate.

    The basic RumbleDrum fee usually begins at $10,000 for design, planning and management of a special event including corporate, non-profit, social events and weddings. We estimate our overall involvement and time in design, planning and execution and propose a fee. If you are needing a simplified solution, we can often work out a lower fee for something less challenging than a complete special event.

What event planning services do you offer?
Producer, Designer, Coordinator and Manager. Event producer means we do everything to make an event happen. Designing means we handle the look and feel of the guest experience, Coordinating typically means working with vendors to execute, and Manager means making sure an event runs smoothly.
Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
We love weddings, but strategically plan to do 3-5 per year. Our best fit are families who have a lot of purpose and detail in their wedding. We do best with multiple events, moving pieces and luxury style plans. Please contact us to find out more information.
What makes your planning style unique?
Many of our clients have indicated that using a company like ours gives them a deeper experience - our team collaboration provides many hands and brains.
How many years have you been in business?
RumbleDrum has been in business for 4 years, but its co-founders possess event industry expertise that predates the company. Joe, our CCO is a seasoned event pro, and as an architect, Todd, our CEO brings unique skills to envisioning and implementing amazing events. Add a talented team to the mix!
How do I know if I can hire you?
