My wedding day was one of the happiest, most stress-free, and wonderful days of my life, and I'm on a mission to make sure yours is, too! I've been a people-serving, girly-detail-loving person since I was a little girl. I knew what I wanted to do the moment I saw David Tutera. I could spend hours watching him shower. As I grew older, I discovered that I like doing hair and cosmetics. For over four years, I worked for a company that specialized in bridal parties. I learned to have the confidence to attempt new things, the importance of perfecting my skill, and the importance of paying attention to details through cosmetology. I'd be negligent if I didn't say how much I enjoy museums, nature, and people. My career began in Atlanta, Georgia, where I perfected my craft in wedding design and floral design with another wedding firm. I'm eternally grateful for the opportunities I've had at these wonderful firms. I'd caught the entrepreneurial bug! I began to consider where all of my experiences had led me, and it became evident that it was time for me to take a risk and create what is now Shuman Koutory Event & Design! Now, I have the opportunity to combine my love of design and connecting with people with my God-given ability to focus and persevere in order to handle all tasks. I have the privilege of working with some of the most amazing people on the earth!
