The Ark

We created the ARK so creatives and artists may identify products that satisfy their senses, gently establish styles, and accentuate their vision. We want to power an exciting event. We're not a get-a-million-pieces-of-everything-tomorrow shop. Our strategy is more deliberate. Intentional and time-consuming.We're not everyone's perfect everything. No. What we can be is the foundation of a look. We can be foundational or the perfect finishing touch. Our commitment to connections sets us apart from larger decor companies. We support fading craftsmen/women who create timeless silhouettes by hand. We enjoy knowing our manufacturers in a world where many items are mass-produced by nameless people or machines. Faces, locations, and names inspire our designs. ARK showcases artists. Their vision and vitality inspire our work. We work with individual artisans who construct each plate by hand in backyard kilns and smaller, boutique-run tabletop firms that have passed down their craft's secrets through decades. Glassblowing, metalwork, porcelain painting, needlework, embroidery. This is only a sample of ARK construction. Our artists' collections reach Los Angeles, Connecticut, San Miguel De Allende, Florence, Paris, Bali, Germany, Japan, and other places. What we can’t find, we endeavor to create ourselves.
