Founded in 2013

The Happy Hour Hostess is a dynamic team of event planning experts dedicated to event excellence and providing the ultimate guest experience. Specializing in wedding, corporate, and social event planning and design, we aim to take outstanding care of our clients at the party AND in the planning process. Founded in 2013, we have produced hundreds of weddings and events and would love to be a part of your celebration. With a home base in Coastal Virginia, we work in Washington, DC, Richmond, Charlottesville, Virginia Beach, and the Eastern Shore and are available to travel. The Happy Hour Hostess knows that event excellence is not all about the visual (although we love a gorgeous tabletop and band backdrop as much as anyone!), it is also about the way people feel when they have gathered together, and we know how to throw an amazing party that will leave your guests talking about it for ages. What event planning services do you offer?
We offer a terrific Full Planning and Design package for weddings, corporate and social events. For wedding couples who wish to plan the wedding on their own but want to have our team onsite on the wedding day, we also offer an Event Management package that begins 6 weeks before your event date.
How does the booking process with you work?
Email us at info@thehappyhourhostess.com with your event type, date and venue (if you have one), and we will quickly get back to you to schedule a zoom consultation. After the consult we will be able to email a proposal with pricing. With weddings, we can usually send the proposal within 24 hours.
How many years have you been in business?
The Happy Hour Hostess turned 10 in March of 2023! We have had the pleasure of working with some incredible clients over the years and would love to bring out experience and expertise to you as well.
Do you do event design?
Yes! We have a thoughtful approach to event design that takes into account the goals of the event, highlights the personality of the hosts, and always considers the way that your guests will experience your event. You will adore our gorgeous and thorough design boards.
