Venus Event Design owner, Hana Malek, comes from a family of artists in a variety of mediums such as illustrators, web designers, gourmet chefs, performers, and interior designers. Her creativity has always been evident as a young child winning awards in illustrations and as an adult when she took on a complete renovation of her first condo. Design, style, and creativity come to her naturally and is engraved in her everyday life. It wasn’t until after working as a registered nurse for over a decade that Hana decided to take her passion for creativity into the event industry. Working as a Neuro/Trauma intensive care nurse is challenging and extremely rewarding. The ability to stay calm in a stressful situation and make quick decisions is a trait that comes in handy both in the medical field and in the event industry. “Helping people is what I have always loved to do. Now I’m taking it to a new arena.” Hana’s experience is vast and diverse, having worked with the top caterers and florists in Los Angeles. She has also volunteered her time in the production of multiple events from private celebrity parties, to dinners for over 150 people, weddings, and corporate events. Hana’s love for design, attention to detail and goal to bring your vision into reality will make your event not only memorable but special in it’s own way.
