Charlotte (Char) Whatley is a sustainable and green wedding planner headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. Whatley Wedding Design's mission is to make the wedding planning and day-of experience as stress-free as possible. We provide add-on services to ensure every part of your event operate smoothly, in addition to wedding planning. Whatley Wedding Design is a one-stop shop for one-of-a-kind, exquisitely conceived, and flawlessly executed events. We've been working with clients in the Charleston region since 2019. We've collaborated with some of the best suppliers (and couples!) in the industry, and we'd love to collaborate with you as well. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and organization. A flawless wedding day necessitates the coordination of many various factors, and we'd like to relieve you of the stress of this process. Your wedding should be a day of relaxation, joy, and connection for you and your guests. We keep our cool under pressure and adjust fast to schedule adjustments (things happen!). Our team is punctual, professional, and well-organized. Allow us to assist you in creating the perfect day! Whatley Wedding Design specializes in environmentally friendly and sustainable weddings. - What event planning services do you offer?
- Partial and full planning packages are our calling cards! We love to take your vision and turn it into a reality - with either a partial or full package, we'll have all the time we need to make it happen!
- Will you arrange and manage meetings with my other vendors?
- Yes! The partial planning package offers assistance booking four of your vendors, whereas the full package includes booking of all of your vendors! After a meeting about your hopes and dreams for each vendor category, I'll source options for you and we can meet with vendors from there!
- How many people from your team will be on-site during my event?
- At least two! Myself and an assistant will always be onsite, but depending on the layout of the wedding, I may bring on additional help.
- What venues have you worked at before?
- Charleston, SC is the second most popular place in the United States to get married (first is Las Vegas!) and there are dozens of venues to choose from depending on your vibe and budget! We have worked at over 30 local venues and would be happy to share our experiences at each!
- How would previous clients describe your planning style?
- There is no right way to plan a wedding, and traditions are constantly changing. I approach each couple + wedding with fresh eyes - we don't follow a formula! You and your partner will have a highly personalized planning process that follows your pace!
