Accent Event Rentals (also known as AER in-house) is a company that specializes in event rentals. In 2018, I had a simple goal in mind: I wanted to create a space where designers, planners, and walk-in clients could all feel comfortable. In order to design their events, they could be inspired and motivated. We have built a 6000 square foot design studio and have a substantial inventory to support that space, which I personally take great pride in. Accent Event Rentals is your one-stop shop for all of your luxury event rental needs. We can assist you in transforming your event space, whether you are planning an unforgettable wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, or corporate gala. We began in 2018 by putting floor wraps on any dance floor, bar, or other structure that we could come across. The concept of simply dressing up dance floors and creating custom wraps grew into a full-fledged product line of rental products. I didn't want to be restricted to the standard rental products available in the marketplace. If I were shopping for similar items for my event, I wanted to make sure my clients received the same products that I would want to see if I were shopping for similar items for myself. So, what do you think? I looked, but couldn't come up with anything. After that, I just did what any other driven entrepreneur would do. With my team, I began developing product concepts. The following six months were spent developing various product lines, which ranged from seating to bars and everything in between. What initially drew me to the concept of luxury high-end rental products was the fact that it is a medium that is constantly evolving. You don't just buy something and keep selling it, as some people believe. You're constantly adding new and innovative products to your inventory to keep it fresh. My name is Aly, and I am the founder and owner of La Bella Luce European Antiques in New York City. I've been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to live in Europe for twelve of the last twenty-four years, which has been a wonderful experience. I fell in love with the laid-back way of life, delectable cuisine, and classic European design that was prevalent. My family and I were fortunate enough to have stayed in Piazzola Sul Brenta, which is the home of Villa Contarini, during our first tour of the country. The town hosts the largest outdoor antique market in northern Italy on the last Sunday of every month on the last Sunday of the month. In addition to shopping and cultivating friendships with Italian vendors that have endured the test of time and distance, I spent many hours at the market as well. Visiting Italy on an annual basis allowed me to carefully select unique pieces for our home as well as to share with my loyal La Bella Luce customers. Antiquated chandeliers are my true passion; they literally light up my life... and every single room in my house. (I am not exaggerating when I say that I once had a couple of them dangling from the ceiling of my garage.) We closed our respective shops and combined our curated collections of chandeliers, furniture, and accessories to make them available for rent to you after nearly fifteen years in the retail business and three antique shops later.
