    • Spaces for 12-200 Guests
    • 6 Restaurants

We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. Our largest single private room is the Red Room on the second floor. In an attractive 2nd floor dining room, seats 20-30 guests for a sit-down lunch or supper, or up to 40 guests for a cocktail reception. Guests can book the Red Room, Drawing Room, and Blue Room for large-scale gatherings. For a sit-down lunch or dinner, all three rooms can seat 30-80 people, or up to 100 people for a cocktail reception. Our second-floor private cocktail bar can accommodate groups of up to 25 people. We can seat 140 guests for a seated dinner or up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception with a full buyout. Reach out today to start planning your private dining experience!

Enjoy a meal with us in New York City, Amagansett, or Ibiza, and browse through our Mediterranean pantry and home collection. When il Buco first opened its doors in 1994 as a rustic antique store on NoHo's cobblestoned Bond Street, the restaurant quickly rose to become one of the city's most beloved destinations. Donna Lennard and her then-partner, Italian-born restaurateur Alberto Avalle, were pioneers on Bond Street when they invited their antique customers to join them for their midday "pranzo" before obtaining a wine and beer license and developing an eclectic Mediterranean menu that was equal parts Italian, Spanish, and invention, and dedicated to sourcing the finest prime ingredients both locally and in Avalle's home country of Italy. The culinary philosophy of il Buco is firmly rooted in the Italian tradition of seasonality and the integrity of all of the ingredients used in the restaurant. Our cuisine is influenced by both the motherland of Italy and the Iberian Peninsula. We spend a significant amount of time sourcing ingredients and take great pleasure in working with our producers to ensure that you receive the highest quality product possible. What we can't find locally, we source in Italy through a network of family and friends that we've built up over the course of a lifetime of traveling.

As a three-story carriage house in the heart of Manhattan, our residence strikes a balance between the comforting familiarity of a home and the unadorned openness of a Flatiron loft. We strive to make our clients, guests, and visitors feel safe. Our staff adheres to all COVID-related requirements throughout the duration of every event they are involved in. And we are delighted to be able to share them with you. When events are taking place, we sanitize each and every event floor every 30 minutes. This includes surfaces that are frequently touched, such as door handles. We use 3M's hospital-grade disinfectant/germicide in a 5L container. We use the same product to sanitize all restrooms. We have hand sanitizers mounted on the walls in all of our restrooms and entrance lobbies, as well as in our offices and staff rooms. Our security team ensures that foot traffic is kept separate between designated entrances and exits on the premises. This eliminates the possibility of attendees arriving and departing at the same time. We also educate and train all of our employees on all COVID-19 protocols and guidelines, which are provided by Metropolitan Pavilion. The filtration in our HVAC system has been upgraded to general surgery grade performance. Our filters, which have a MERV rating of 13 (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value), are capable of controlling particles as small as 1.0–0.3 microns in size, including droplet nuclei. As much as we can, we assist our clients in planning and hosting their event safely and in accordance with CDC guidelines and industry best practices. Every effort should be made to keep guests and staff at a minimum of 6 feet apart when possible. When offered, hand sanitizer must be used immediately. Aside from that, full proof of vaccination is required at all indoor events, and we collaborate with our clients to ensure that guests arrive on time. This contributes to maintaining a steady, socially distant flow.
