We are a company that is run by members of our own family. The Parker family, consisting of Stan, Denise, and Sarah, is the owner of the farm. In 2016, the home was purchased with the goal of quickly turning around and selling it to a sizable company. However, the family quickly fell in love with the property and started using it as a gathering place for family and friends not long after they purchased it. In 2018, Sarah tied the knot, which served as the impetus for the family to transform the property into a location for weddings and other events. Now that the dream has become a reality, we are excited to share our stunning, contemporary, rustic venue with you and your loved ones.   Caledonia Golf & Fish Club sits on the grounds of a former Lowcountry rice plantation in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, a property that traces back to Scotsman Dr. Robert Nesbit, who named it after the Roman designation for Scotland. At its peak in the mid-1800s, the plantation produced more than 700,000 pounds of rice annually before the plantation house burned in 1931; the current owners acquired the land in 1971 as a hunting and fishing preserve, a tradition that inspired the golf course's design when it opened to the public in 1994.
