A Brief History of the Rose Chapel and Southside Preservation Hall The former Central Methodist Church, built in 1911 at 1519 Lipscomb St., was formerly the spiritual home of many notable Fort Worth families around the turn of the century. The building has been threatened with demolition multiple times since the congregation relocated in 1969. The Panther Boys Club, a civic organization, purchased the facility in 1972 and transformed the church facilities into a gymnasium, boxing ring, and adolescent dance area. The chapel was not in use at the time. The property was then spared from demolition by the Southside Preservation Association, which was founded in 1996 by a determined group of preservationists. The Association, which is run entirely by volunteers and is a non profit organization, works to repair the facility's buildings and grounds, winning multiple community honors in the process. The magnificent, restored Rose Chapel, named after the Flower of Love, is always booked. The Southside Preservation Hall's adjoining rooms accommodate a diverse range of events, from corporate parties and wedding receptions to dances, classes, and performances that reflect the metroplex's diversity.   Celebrate your big day in the historic Frisco Heritage Village in North Texas' Frisco, Texas. Let's get started on your trip together. It is customary to do your wedding rehearsal at the Chapel the night before your wedding day. Your big day has finally arrived, and it is customary for everyone in the wedding party to gather at the Crozier Bridal House to begin the festivities. It consists of the full downstairs bridal suite, as well as the kitchen, baths, living room, and dining area. There is plenty of space for a luncheon, dressing and cosmetics, as well as gathering places for your personal family members. Upon arrival at the Chapel, the bridal party is taken to the altar. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space. With a capacity of 102 people, the Clubhouse is the more intimate of the two venues on the property.
