Harmony Meadows Tennis Resort sits on a former farm in Manson, Washington, near Lake Chelan, between orchards and the Cascade foothills. The property has taken many forms over the decades — a dairy farm, apple orchard, antique restoration shop, and even a petting zoo — before owners Jacquelyn and Jeremy Jaech began rehabilitating it in 2017 as a tennis and events destination. A 2018 Master Planned Resort designation from Chelan County allowed the addition of overnight accommodations and food service, and the resort now offers thirteen suites across the Inn, the Hayloft Suite, and the Cottages. For weddings and private events, the resort's centerpiece is the Great Hall, a 6,000-square-foot event space accommodating up to 250 guests beneath natural light, with barn doors that can be opened to the surrounding landscape or closed for a more intimate setting. Couples planning a smaller celebration can book the Salon, appointed with a grand piano and a rock crystal chandelier, for a cocktail reception or private dinner, or choose an Intimate Wedding package for up to 16 guests on the lawn in front of the Gazebo. Beyond the event spaces, the resort's tennis and pickleball courts, on-site dining, and proximity to the wineries of Manson and Chelan give guests things to do before and after the celebration.

  • The Barn, an event space at Red Cedar Farm

27054 NW Lofall Rd, Poulsbo, WA 98370, USA
    • Spaces for 150 Guests
    • 1 Barn
    • 1 Farm

Red Cedar Farm sits on Lofall Road in Poulsbo, Washington, a property Andrea and Gregg bought as a family retreat in 1987 and then, over the years, filled with more than a thousand trees, a pumpkin patch, a hardy kiwi orchard, and an antique shop built from Gregg's own collecting habit. Weddings came later: the farm began hosting events after 2009, inspired by a local venue, and held its first wedding in 2012. It still books no more than one event per day. The centerpiece is the Barn, a heated reception space converted from a former chicken house and carport that seats 150. Ceremonies move outdoors to the Arbor or, when the weather insists otherwise, under the Pergola. The bridal party dresses in a suite with its own building for bridesmaids; the groom gets a 130-year-old restored barn to himself. Guests circulate through the Terrace courtyard, warm up at the stone fire pit, or find their way to the Arcade, a room of more than fifteen vintage pinball machines dating to the 1950s through the early '70s. The grounds still function as a working farm, with goats and donkeys on hand for the Farm & Play Area, a catering kitchen, four ADA-accessible restrooms, and parking for 25 cars — anyone else takes the shuttle.

Full-day weddings of up to 180 guests dine in the barn itself, while intimate weddings of 50 or fewer guests can celebrate entirely in the Pavilion. The barn at the center of the property has stood since the early 1900s, on a family farm in Washington's Columbia River Gorge that the founder's parents acquired in 1971. It was restored and opened as a wedding venue in 2014, and the Pavilion was added in 2016 to serve as a covered ceremony alternative during rain or heat. Reservations include a full day onsite, upgraded ceremony chairs, farm tables, two private dressing quarters, and an onsite restroom facility. Tin Roof Barn also offers its own in-house coordination team, TRB & Co., as the sole required planning vendor, alongside a preferred list of caterers and DJs.
