She has 10 years of experience working in Customer Service and Management, all of which have helped her to transition into her current role as Venue Specialist with ease. Cassie is a Certified Venue Professional thanks to the fact that she earned her accreditation in her field from The Bridal Society. You name an adventure, and these two have probably experienced it together at some point. Chris, who has such a strong interest in exploring new places, desired to establish a community that is steeped in originality. Chris started the refurbishment of Grant Station in 2011 and building of The Barn at Grant Station Events in the same year. Since then, they have launched a number of businesses, including Rib City, Old Grant Creamery, Island Paddle, and The Barn, and they still have a few more projects in the works. Chris and Judy Pozgar are the proud new owners of the Historic Grant Station. Although it operates as a different company from the restaurant, the wedding venue is still wholly owned by the same people. The restaurant may be found on the first floor of the Old Grant Grocery, while the Wedding Venue can be found on the northern side of the property.

  Palma Sola Botanical Park is a 10-acre nonprofit botanical garden in the Old Palma Sola section of northwest Bradenton, Florida. The park traces its roots to 1990, when local citizens rallied to preserve a site that had served as the Manatee County Nursery. The Palma Sola Botanical Park Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in 1993, and the Galleria building was added in 2000 to host weddings, parties, and educational programs. A protected warm micro-climate keeps the grounds notably frost-free, allowing the park to display rare palms, exotic fruit trees, and subtropical flowering plants found few other places in the region. For private events, the park offers several rental options across its grounds. The Galleria building and its adjacent half-covered deck can seat up to 160 guests and accommodate up to 250 when the outdoor lawns and gardens are included. Wedding couples have access to the full grounds, including the grand lawn, a palm area with gazebo, the Baden Building for a bride's room with kitchenette, and the screened pavilion.
