Come celebrate a special family occasion with us. Located at the historic crossroads of PCH and Sunset Blvd—where the sun meets the sea—this hotel offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Serving our all-day lunch and dinner menu, as well as in-person eating in both the outdoor and indoor settings, starting at 11 a.m. daily! Gladstones is a great place to host your next event. While being one of the most iconic beachside eating venues, Gladstones Malibu is also home to two beautiful Beachfront Private Event Spaces with some of the most spectacular views available anywhere in Los Angeles. No matter if you're arranging an intimate dinner party, a wedding, or any type of special event, we would be delighted to assist you. In addition to exclusive beach access, a picture-perfect ocean view, and a private balcony known as the Catwalk that overlooks the ocean, the Sunset Room is also pet-friendly. The Sunset Room has a capacity of 50 to 100 people and can accommodate a variety of events. The Movie Room features a 360-degree view of the ocean and direct access to the private beach. 10 to 50 people can comfortably sit in the Movie Room at the same time. The Sunset and Movie rooms can accommodate a total of 150 guests without a dance floor and 100 visitors with a dance floor when both rooms are used together. Along with our private event venues, we have two stunning semi-private spaces for dinner parties and outdoor celebrations that are perfect for any occasion. The Main Deck boasts panoramic ocean views, a refreshing ocean wind, and a lively beach club atmosphere. The Main Deck can hold anything from 20 to 200 people comfortably. The PCH Deck is a small, private outdoor area that is ideal for cocktail parties and happy hour gatherings. Cocktail parties can be held on the PCH Deck, which can comfortably seat 20 to 75 guests.   In recent years, Derrick Pipkin has gained widespread recognition throughout Southern California for his work in the entertainment industry, particularly for his massively successful Party In Palm Springs extravaganza and annual Mother's Day Jazz Festival. After years of successfully combining business and entertainment, Derrick has recently added the title of restaurateur to his long list of accomplishments and is looking forward to the future. Since the summer 2010 opening of PIPS on La Brea, the PIPS experience has continued to impress foodies and music lovers alike, thanks to Live Jazz on a newly-renovated patio. Luis Carrizo is a Master Chef who has worked all over the world. Chef Luis Carrizo, of Salvat, Argentina, was introduced to South American, Argentinean, and Mediterranean cuisine by his parents, who were born in Spain. Argentina and Brazil were the final destinations for his professional training and culinary education. Following graduation, he worked his way up the ranks to become the Executive Chef for Events at the Hotel Turista in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the prestigious Hyatt Hotel in Santiago, Chile, among other places. Luis Carrizo Salvat traveled to the United States in the late 1990s to further his professional and personal interests in cooking. He accepted the position of Executive Chef at Minotaure Tapas Restaurant & Wine Bar in Playa Del Rey, California, which is well-known for being a fine-dining Spanish restaurant with a Mediterranean influence. In addition to serving as a consultant for numerous restaurant openings, Chef Luis Carrizo Salvat continues to develop menus for businesses such as Farmer's Grove and California City Market. The success of his own catering business, "Flavors of the World," in Woodland Hills has led to the formation of another.

  Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden is a two-acre historic garden estate in a residential neighborhood of Pasadena, California, available for private events and special celebrations. Designed by renowned landscape architect Kinzuchi Fujii between 1935 and 1940 for Charles and Ellamae Storrier Stearns, it is recognized as the only intact example in the United States of a major Japanese-style garden created for a private residence in the years leading up to World War II. Following a comprehensive restoration completed in 2013 under the direction of Dr. Takeo Uesugi of Cal Poly Pomona, the property was reimagined as a shared space for the community. The garden features a hill-and-pond stroll garden with a 25-foot waterfall, an arched wooden bridge, Japanese granite statuary, and a formal teahouse overlooking the pond — all framed by mature sycamore, oak, and Japanese maple trees. Private event rental provides exclusive use of the entire property, accommodating up to 120 seated guests or 150 for standing receptions. The intimate teahouse is available for smaller gatherings of up to 15. The setting has hosted weddings, corporate retreats, holiday parties, concerts, recitals, and celebrations of life.
