Bogati Bodega & Winery is a family-run winery in Berryville, Virginia, a short drive from Leesburg in the heart of Northern Virginia wine country. The winery grew out of the Bogaty family's love of winemaking, which began as a hobby on a farm estate purchased by Della and Jim Bogaty in the early 1990s and grew into Veramar Vineyard, with son Justin joining as winemaker. In 2010 the family opened Bogati Winery, inspired by a trip to Argentina; the name reflects both the family's Italian heritage and the Latin influences found in Argentine winemaking. Bogati Bodega & Winery's winemaker has earned 97 Wine Enthusiast awards, placing the winery among Virginia's most-decorated. Guests can enjoy wine on the property's patio or take part in one of its recurring events, in a pet- and family-friendly setting, and members of the Black Label Club receive discounts on purchases and public events at the winery.

Set on 42 acres in Virginia's Piedmont wine country, The Inn at Willow Grove centers on a manor house built in 1778 by surveyor Joseph Clark and later expanded with brick additions and Jeffersonian columns by craftsmen who also worked for Thomas Jefferson. The estate carries a Civil War history, with trenches and gun emplacements once dug near the house and a cannonball still lodged in its eaves. Discovered by owner David Scibal in 2008 and renovated over two years, the property today blends historic preservation with an urban-meets-rustic aesthetic across 25 individually designed rooms and suites. For weddings and private events, the estate offers 6,400 square feet of combined indoor-outdoor space across The Barn, with its reclaimed wood ceilings, Palladian windows, and stone fireplace, and the adjoining open-air Ruins, framed by rebuilt stone foundations and covered by a custom tent with string lighting. The Hall offers a more intimate setting bathed in natural light for smaller seated dinners, while the Chef's Table provides a garden-level private dining room in the Manor House for up to 20 guests. Guests round out a stay with treatments at the Mill House Spa and seasonal dining at the Forbes Travel Guide four-star-rated Vintage Restaurant.

Long Branch is a town in the state of New Jersey. Boyce, Virginia's Long Branch Historic House and Farm is situated on 400 acres of land, approximately one hour and a half north of Washington, D.C. In order to benefit our local and regional communities, we want to preserve and use the assets of the Long Branch estate to the greatest extent possible. In addition to hosting community and private events, the circa 1811 historic house, horse retirement farm, and scenic open spaces allow us to promote education and environmental preservation. In addition, our picturesque Sheila McQueen Gardens are an ideal setting for weddings and other private events. Visit the house, have a picnic on our beautiful grounds, or hike or walk around our pristine property at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We welcome you to come and enjoy ourselves. Let us know when we can expect to see you. Weddings Long Branch, Virginia, is nestled against the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers some of the most spectacular views of the Shenandoah Valley. Due to the fact that it surrounds a beautifully groomed ceremony site, our Sheila Macqueen garden is an ideal setting for traditional Virginia weddings. The Main Gallery of the mansion can accommodate up to 75 guests for a more intimate Virginia wedding and reception venue when hosting smaller parties or during inclement weather conditions. Regardless of where you choose to get married, Long Branch has a Bridal Suite and a Groom's Room where you can prepare and relax before your big day. This beautiful, upstairs room with views of the ceremony site, as well as a luxurious dressing room and bathroom, is perfect for the bride and her bridal party to get ready, while the groom's "Tack Room" is the perfect place for the groom and his groomsmen to relax and enjoy pre-wedding preparations. History Long Branch has seen it all, including the Civil War, the Reconstruction era, the Great Depression, and two world wars, among other things. Long Branch is significant because of its connection to national, regional, and local historical narratives. It was designated as a Virginia Historic Landmark in 1968 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, respectively. Robert Carter Burwell, a descendant of Robert "King" Carter, inherited the land in Clarke County, Virginia, in 1788. The land was located along a stream known as Long Branch and was inherited by Robert Carter Burwell. Burwell established a wheat plantation on the land he inherited, employing the labor of enslaved laborers to do the work. Around 1810, he began construction on a mansion on the site, which would be completed in about twenty years. Burwell, with the assistance of a local builder-architect, designed and built the house in accordance with the classical principles suggested to him by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, the architect of the United States Capitol, in a letter dated July 21, 1811, and published in the Journal of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. It was suggested by Latrobe that Burwell include a servant's staircase and that the dining room and chamber be located on the south side of the house. Burwell was unable to incorporate all of Latrobe's recommendations into the final design of Long Branch, but he did include the servant's staircase, which can still be seen today in the building. Burwell did not have much time to enjoy his new home because, while serving in the military during the War of 1812 in the filthy camps around Norfolk, Virginia, he became ill and died.

Citizens incorporated the estate as a country club in 1925, and members repurchased it in 1946 as Fredericksburg Country Club following a wartime closure; expansions in 1961, 1973, 1988, and 1998 grew its golf course, dining, and recreation facilities. Today the private club is home to more than 500 members and offers a championship 18-hole golf course, golf practice facilities, an outdoor pool, and tennis and pickleball courts, alongside dining service and a fitness center. For weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, the club opens its elegant ballroom, scenic outdoor spaces, and intimate dining rooms, with landscaped grounds and the golf course providing a picturesque backdrop for photography. The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley sits on 214 acres in Winchester, Virginia, making it the largest green space in the city and pairing a 50,000-square-foot museum building — designed by architect Michael Graves — with the historic Glen Burnie House and six acres of formal gardens. Glen Burnie House, built in 1794, was transformed into a refined home by Julian Wood Glass Jr. and R. Lee Taylor beginning in the 1950s before the museum itself opened in 2005 to share their collection with the public. For private events, the museum offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces suited to gatherings of different sizes and styles. The beautifully renovated Glen Burnie House, with its formal Drawing Room, Library, and adjacent Terrace, suits an intimate dinner or cocktail reception, with access extended to the surrounding garden rooms. The Glen Burnie Gardens themselves offer settings from the Grand Allee to the more intimate Water Garden for ceremonies and receptions. Inside the museum, the wood-beamed Reception Hall and adjoining lobby and hallways can host larger cocktail-style events, while the Truist Learning Center and Carriage House Classroom provide smaller spaces for meetings, workshops, and luncheons. The museum is a site-only rental, so caterers, tents, and event equipment are arranged through outside vendors, including members of the Shenandoah Wedding Professionals group that the museum regularly partners with.

That We Are We were the ones who bought the farm! The name Belle's Pleasure was inspired by my great grandmother's ancient house in Prince Georges County, Maryland (Bealls Pleasure). As a child, I remember being awed by the big brick home with chandeliers, rich rugs, secret staircases, room after room stuffed with treasures, and the aroma of boxwoods that encircled the secret garden in the back. Even before we found this teeny-tiny slice of heaven we now call home, I knew our farm would be called Belle's Pleasure. This property was first shown to us in the fall of 2016. I went to look at the house with our month-old baby in tow. When I saw the cathedral ceilings at the top of the barn's inner staircase, I knew this was the one! A Smidgeon of Heaven Being here at the farm gives me a special feeling, a serene and peaceful atmosphere that penetrates the entire property. Maybe it's the history; knowing that the old farmhouse at the property's center has stood for almost two centuries gives you a sense of confidence. Maybe it's the rustic beauty of the enormous white barn, which was built by farmers in 1920 as a dairy barn. Several generations have lived and worked on this land over the past 250 years, and this small piece of heaven has been a part of their lives. Please come in and take a look around. The Real Estate Industry With 15 acres of rolling pastures, mature trees, beautiful white fencing, an acre and a half pond with a dock and bridge, the 1920's dairy barn, the historic farmhouse built in 1769, the horse trails and creek that meander through the woods, and the horses, the photo opportunities are infinite. The house is a charming, rustic piece of history. The Wedding Suite is a special place for weddings. Arrive early to relax! Get ready with your bridesmaids in our two-story, two-bathroom bridal suite on the day of your celebration. You'll have everything you need, including numerous mirrors, outlets, and primping areas, as well as a full-size refrigerator, to enjoy getting all dolled up with your closest friends.
