Useless Bay Golf & Country Club sits on Whidbey Island in Langley, Washington, where the course unfolds across two distinct sides, each with its own mountain and territorial views. The greens are undulating, meticulously manicured, and playable year-round. No round feels quite the same twice. From the clubhouse, the dining room and Clubhouse bar look out over the fairways, often catching the sunset. The club's recreation extends well past golf. A remodeled pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a bocce ball court round out the grounds, alongside a year-round calendar of concerts, wine tastings, and cooking classes. Up to 200 guests can be accommodated, with full-service waitstaff, furnishings and linens, plated or buffet dining, a full bar, a dance floor, and microphone and sound equipment. Catering is available to members and non-members alike.
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center
17905 Cedar Falls Rd SE, North Bend, WA 98045, USA- Spaces for 120 Guests
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center sits above the shores of Rattlesnake Lake in the Cascade foothills, on the historic site of the old Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway's Cedar Falls camp. Operated by Seattle Public Utilities, the Center serves as a gateway to the Cedar River Municipal Watershed, the source of drinking water for 70 percent of the 1.6 million people in the greater Seattle area. The Center is made up of five buildings connected by covered walkways topped with living roofs, designed by Seattle architects Jones & Jones with sustainable materials throughout — 98 percent of the wood used meets LEED standards for sustainable harvest, and the outdoor decking and benches are built from Smart Deck, a composite of recycled plastic and wood. In the Forest Court, native plantings tie the buildings into the surrounding forest, and a series of water drums — commissioned from artist Dan Corson through Seattle's 1% for Art program — release a rhythm of water droplets via a computerized irrigation system, audible from dawn to dusk. Inside, free hands-on exhibits trace the region's water cycle, forests, and wildlife for visitors of all ages, with groups of ten or more asked to reserve ahead.

Seating 800, the theatre produces and presents a full calendar of concerts, comedy shows, live music from nationally and internationally known artists, silent film screenings accompanied by pipe organ, and community events. Beyond its own programming, the venue is available for rentals; bookings include a house manager and ushers along with access to the greenroom and dressing rooms, digital house sound, stage lighting, and video projection. A working home for more than 300 community volunteers, the Historic Everett Theatre remains a central gathering place for performances and private events in downtown Everett.

Cabins on the Point sits on three acres of private beachfront along West Sound, on Orcas Island in Washington's San Juan Islands. The grounds open onto a lawn overlooking the waters of West Sound, a setting the property makes available for weddings. The cabins take on an added charm when decorated for the occasion, and couples are invited to reach out for details on hosting a ceremony on the point. Beyond the wedding lawn, guests have access to a private beach for beach bonfires, a dock available by arrangement for boats, and a two-person hot tub tucked among the trees near the Heather and Primrose cabins.
