The clubhouse hosts private events ranging from intimate dinners to full wedding receptions. Province Lake Golf Club is an 18-hole golf and event destination set along the shores of Province Lake in Parsonsfield, Maine — right on the New Hampshire border. Founded in 1918 by Joseph Emery with a front nine designed by Lawrence Van Etten, the course added a modern back nine in 1988 designed by Brian Silva. The 2020 clubhouse features a wraparound veranda with views of the course and lake, and Province Lake is visible from fourteen of the eighteen holes. The property encompasses four connected venues — the golf club and clubhouse, the Carriage House Bistro & Tavern, Edgelake Farm, and the Wakefield Inn — making it a self-contained destination for weddings, golf outings, corporate retreats, and private celebrations. The Province Lake Room accommodates up to 150 guests for post-round banquets and private events, while Edgelake Farm's restored barn hosts weddings and parties for 25 to 250 guests. The farm also features the Five Chimneys Estate with a sprawling lawn for tented receptions and the Stone Terrace, a three-tiered outdoor space suited for al fresco dining. On-site catering is available through the Carriage House Bistro, and overnight accommodations can be arranged through the Wakefield Inn.

The Woodlands Club is a member-owned, year-round private country club in Falmouth, Maine, roughly ten minutes from downtown Portland. Founded in 1988, the club was built around the idea that a single destination could offer year-round activities for families — a model anchored by an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jim and George Fazio that has since hosted four Korn Ferry Tour events and multiple state and regional championships. For private events, the clubhouse offers several distinct spaces. The Grand Ballroom, renovated in 2015, spans 4,000 square feet and can be divided into smaller configurations for more intimate gatherings. The Fireside Room seats up to 24 guests for private dinners and smaller celebrations. A covered patio with views of the 18th hole serves as a natural backdrop for cocktail hours and outdoor ceremonies. The club's on-site catering and events team supports weddings, corporate dinners, anniversaries, reunions, bar and bat mitzvahs, and similar occasions with customizable menus from an executive chef.
