Colts Neck Inn Steakhouse carries a rare distinction: established in 1717, it is recognized as the oldest inn in New Jersey and the sixth oldest in the United States. Located in Colts Neck Township, Monmouth County, the steakhouse underwent its first comprehensive renovation in over two decades in 2024, reopening with a refreshed interior while retaining its deep roots in hospitality. The kitchen focuses on hand-cut steaks prepared fresh daily from scratch, with custom menu planning available for private events. The venue hosts private gatherings from 25 to 200 guests. The Forest Road Park Building is a rental facility operated by the Fanwood Recreation Department in Fanwood, New Jersey. The main room spans 43 by 35 feet and accommodates up to 120 guests, with heat, air conditioning, and restroom facilities. Available for groups of 45 or more and for any event requiring kitchen access, the building includes a full kitchen available for an additional fee. Approximately 20 tables and more than 100 chairs are provided with each rental at no extra charge. The building sits within Forest Road Park, which also features a playground.

Columbia Inn Restaurant is a Montville, New Jersey establishment founded in 1997 by brothers Ryan and Aran McDermott, both Montville natives whose family has been part of the community since 1982. The building itself has deeper roots: constructed in the 1870s as Montville's town hall, it later became an inn serving travelers along the corridor between historic Route 202 and the Morris Canal. The McDermott family carries on a hospitality tradition started by their father, Joe McDermott, who previously opened Harrigan's restaurant in the area. The Columbia Inn is recognized for its thin-crust pizza and Italian menu.
