The Ritz Theater at Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center is a historic community theater in downtown Sanford, Florida, operating out of a building originally constructed in 1923 as the Milane Theatre. The venue was renamed the Ritz Theater in 1936 and later renovated and re-dedicated as the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in 2008 to honor major donors who helped restore it. Significant improvements in 2015 — including a new LED marquee replicating the theater's 1930s look — returned the building's character to Magnolia Avenue. DeBary Hall Historic Site is a 19th-century hunting estate perched on ten acres overlooking the St. Johns River in DeBary, Florida. Built in 1871 by European wine merchant Frederick deBary, the 8,000-square-foot main lodge is recognized as the oldest intact building in southwest Volusia County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The estate once played host to Presidents Grant and Cleveland, as well as the Astor, Gould, and Vanderbilt families, lending the grounds a distinctive sense of history and grandeur. The site offers a unique backdrop for weddings, receptions, meetings, and family reunions. Our breathtaking outdoor ceremony location is tucked away beneath an oak tree that is well over a hundred years old. This tree provides a canopy of shade for your guests and a picture-perfect setting for your photographs. As you make your grand entrance through the vintage double doors onto the paved ceremony site, which features a platform so that all of your guests will have a wonderful view of you tying the knot, the ceremony site will be ready for you to begin. There is room for up to 150 guests in the area designated for the ceremony, and white garden chairs are provided. A nearby pergola is available for use for serving drinks prior to the ceremony as well as for hosting live music during the event. Guests have the option of partaking in outdoor activities such as drinking a beverage or playing a game while the bride and groom are off taking photographs at one of the many picturesque locations located on the premises. The cocktail area is covered and features a total of six high-top tables in addition to expansive paved areas that are surrounded by trees.
