The Old Post Office Then The Old Post Office is composed of three buildings, the first completed in 1921, with its current form completed in 1934. Its capacity was needed to serve Chicago's great volume of postal business, inflated by the mail-order businesses of Montgomery, Ward, and Sears. ARCHITECTS: Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White The Old Post Office Now The historic art deco structure is 12 stories tall, with a total of 2,500,000 square feet of office-lead mixed-use develop- ment. The completed structure is home to more than 12 event spaces, including the Historic Lobby, which has been restored to its original state, and a 3.5-acre rooftop called the Meadow.

Situated in West Town on the corner of Fulton and Wood, the Goose Island Taproom serves rotating, innovative beers made in Chicago, for Chicago. The Taproom opened back in 2015 to bring the beers brewed in the building right to the neighborhood. Room 1520 event venue is located in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Our Award Winning venue is a spacious, historical loft building that will surround your event with one-of-a-kind details. Towering ceilings; a dramatic, handcrafted staircase; a mirrored, white-washed antique bar; crystal chandeliers; daylight windows; and white exposed brick to mention a few. Five years ago we created a smaller event space inside of Room 1520 to accommodate more intimate events. “The Justine”, is a little jewel of a space that holds up to 60 guests and is a perfect fit for rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, small weddings, cocktail parties, birthdays, showers or business team gatherings. Room 1520 offers our own top shelf bar packages. So there’s no hassle of hiring a third party to supply libations and bartenders.
