  Building the first component of what would eventually become Naylor Hall for H.W. Proudfoot and his wife, Euphemia, in the 1840s, Barrington King designed it as a four-room clapboard house with a central fireplace, which was later expanded. Mr. Proudfoot was engaged as an accountant by Mr. King, the son of the city of Roswell's founder, in his recently constructed Roswell Mills facility. Colonel Harrison Broadwell acquired the property in the late 1930s and renamed it Naylor Hall in honor of his wife's family, which is still the name of the building today. Aside from that, he made a number of changes that may still be seen today, including the columns, carved woodwork, and a portico that wraps around the original structure. Naylor Hall is still making history today, well into the twenty-first century, with each and every event that takes place on Canton Street. Lady Naylor Hall, who is 170 years old and a southern beauty, has had her tummy tucked and her thighs tucked in order to greet the millennium.   It is historically significant because of its association with Victor Hugo Kriegshaber, who was a leader in the cultural and economic development of Atlanta during the first third of the twentieth century and who was also the original owner of this house." He commissioned the building to be designed by architect Willis F. Danny just before 1900, and he and his family lived there until their deaths in the year 1924. Denny's work is exemplified by the Kriegshaber residence; he was only in Atlanta for a few years before his untimely death at the age of 31 from pneumonia, but he managed to design many of the city's most prestigious public and private structures before 1905. The house is a notable transitional statement in terms of style, combining late Victorian and eclectic elements in a cohesive whole. The Wrecking Bar Brewpub has three different event spaces, each with a different capacity and atmosphere: the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, and the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. The Biergarten is an event space located in our brewery warehouse that can accommodate up to 42 people seated and up to 100 people standing. The property was originally the winter residence of Captain Aaron Flint Churchill, a celebrated Nova Scotia sea captain who relocated to Savannah after founding the Churchill Steamship Line. Maritime flourishes — rope motifs around the main entrance and twisted rope balusters along the grand staircase — remain from that era. The Harrison Family has owned and operated the inn since 2016. The inn's 12 elegantly furnished guest rooms include soaring 14-foot ceilings, 12-foot doors, and original woodwork, with options ranging from parlor-level suites with mahogany fireplaces to upper-floor rooms with private patios overlooking the park. Each stay includes a full gourmet breakfast, evening beverages with appetizers, and in-house baked sweets. For intimate celebrations, Forsyth Park Inn hosts elopements and wedding ceremonies for 2 to 45 guests in its private courtyard garden, with packages that include an officiant, coordinator, florals, a two-tier wedding cake, and couple accommodations.
