Thus, it came as no surprise when Lazy Betty and its tasting menu eventually opened their doors to the public and became an instant hit. Meadowlark Garden consisted of a total of seven acres of old formal gardens, which were set inside a 400-acre conservation area. The ancient property, which was built in 1883, has 2,200 square feet of furnished area for preparations and storage. Our 150-year-old Pecan tree provides a gorgeous backdrop for any event, and the site can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on the configuration of your event. There are a variety of ceremony and reception sites available on the property. Ingram family has owned this historically historic property since it was purchased in 1939, when they purchased the original farmhouse built in 1891, which is now a museum. When Frank Ingram and his wife, Rhoda Hopson Ingram, bought the ancient farmhouse, they immediately started renovating it and planting flowers in it. Rhoda Hopson had a genuine passion for gardening, and she imagined walkways and allees that would meander through pleasant garden rooms, which she saw come to fruition throughout her life. A number of years later, her grandson Jay Averett, together with the property's caretakers, AP and Alea Moore, revived the gorgeous property as Meadowlark 1939, bringing it back to life.

In addition to a three-vessel, 40 BBL brewhouse, 620 BBL of fermentation space, and 320 BBLs of brite beer storage, we have a 620 BBL of fermentation space. Clarification of all of our beers is accomplished with the help of a GEA centrifuge. Red Hare, like with a small number of other craft breweries, is fortunate in that it has a full-time biochemist and a fully equipped laboratory for quality control. We were the first craft brewery in Georgia to can its beer, and we were the first brewery in the world to use the evercan, an aluminum can with a high recycled content. With a 40-head filler and six-head seamer, our canning line is capable of packaging nearly 480 cases every hour (about 11,520 cans)! It is possible for us to process 50 BBLs of beer per day on our kegging line.
