Bateau
1040 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122, USABateau, french for “boat,” is both a nod to our first restaurant, Boat Street Café, as well as an attempt to reimagine the American steak house around quality, sustainability and animal welfare. With the name About Bateau, which comes from the French word for "boat," we're paying homage to our first restaurant, Boat Street Café, while also attempting to reimagine the American steakhouse in the context of quality, sustainability, and animal welfare. Traditional cattle breeds, renowned for their flavor, are the centerpiece of Bateau's whole animal menu. These cattle breeds are selected and owned by Bateau and cared for by Pure Country, a Food Alliance certified ranch located in Moses Lake, Washington. All of our cows are raised in a humane manner, fed only grass, and, most importantly, finished only on pasture. Bateau's beef is dry aged for a minimum of 21 days before being butchered on site by Scott Johnson, the butcher for the restaurant. This is certainly not the quickest, easiest, or most cost-effective method of preparing beef, but we believe it is the most effective. Along with Chef Taylor Thornhill's inventive dishes, which frequently include foraged and fermented ingredients, specialty cuts are sold by the pound or by the quantity of meat available. In addition to steakhouse classics done right, such as twice-fried frites and buttery mashed potatoes, the menu includes iconic cocktails and an extensive bottle list. The service is warm and welcoming while also being refined. Many of the fixtures and furniture pieces from Boat Street Café have been repurposed in the dining room as a nod to the former location. The rough slate tables, which are now decades old, as well as the 'Jeffry' chalk drawing by artist Curtis Steiner, will be familiar to visitors. In order to express what is happening in our corner of the world and to pay homage to our beginnings at Boat Street Café, we are attempting to create something new and exciting at Bateau. Renee Erickson, the chef and proprietor

- 1 Outdoor
- 1 Historic Space
- 2 Total Spaces
Warm Springs Inn & Winery traces its roots to 2006, when the Szmania family purchased a 20-acre farm and pear orchard along the Wenatchee River. Two years later they planted rows of Sangiovese, Syrah, and Merlot, and by 2012 had brought in their first harvest, with early vintages made under the guidance of winemaker John Patterson at Patterson Cellars in Woodinville. In 2013, the family expanded into hospitality, purchasing the historic 9,000-square-foot mansion on the property's 10 riverfront acres and reopening it as an inn in April 2014. Today, BCV wines are produced in small batches on-site in Wenatchee, from harvest through crush, fermentation, and bottling — eight wines in all, including Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc blends, and a Rubi Reserve Port, several of which have won medals at the North Central Washington Wine Awards. Set between Wenatchee and Leavenworth and surrounded by cherry orchards and old-growth trees, the inn offers six guest suites, a wine bar and tasting room overlooking the river, and grounds that host both intimate indoor weddings and riverfront outdoor celebrations for up to 250 guests. Chef and owner Ludger Szmania prepares breakfast for guests each morning.

Founded in 2008, Olalla Vineyard & Winery has been serving the local community. It is a small, family-owned winery with a strong connection to Croatian culture. A summer wedding in a vineyard is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. Stunning photographs and memories will be created by the natural background of our vineyards and gorgeous gardens, which you and your guests will cherish for a lifetime. We have a vineyard setting that will provide for a picture-perfect environment, regardless of whether your personal style is formal and sophisticated or informal and relaxed. Seabrook Town Hall

Wide plank wood floors, high ceilings, and soft neutral walls set the tone inside Seabrook Town Hall, where a New England-inspired exterior gives way to a bright, vaulted interior built for gatherings that feel intentional and welcoming. The eight-hour rental includes chiavari chairs, event tables, white or black table linens, and full table settings, with setup, breakdown, and on-site support handled by the venue's team.
