It was purchased in 2012 with the intention of bringing the historic Downtown Tacoma post office building back to life. The building is 72,000 square feet in size. We have worked in close collaboration with local business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, and artisans to create a space that is an authentic destination in Downtown Tacoma for both working and taking pleasure in the arts and cultural activities. The growth in occupancy of the building has allowed us to witness the realization of our vision, which has manifested itself in thriving tenants, people enjoying open-air cocktails, and wedding procession. Please come to 1102 South A street, where we hope you will enjoy the diverse community that we have created here. The Ballroom, which was originally a Federal courtroom, was completely renovated in 2015 with your event in mind. With its high ceilings, state-of-the-art LED lighting, and breathtaking views of downtown Tacoma and Mount Rainier, the elegant 2,000 square foot room is sure to impress. Please take a look at our video tour and get in touch with Jessica Johnston if you have any further questions or to schedule an appointment. Wind Mountain Ranch

192 Erickson Rd, Stevenson, WA 98648, USA
    • Spaces for 300 Guests

A charred-timber gathering hall rises at the center of Wind Mountain Ranch's open meadow, its floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Cascade foothills and the forest line beyond. Completed in early 2025, the building takes its shape from the property's original timber cabins, giving the new construction the weathered, Shou Sugi Ban-inspired texture of something that has always belonged on this 22-acre property outside Stevenson, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge. The ranch has passed through generations as farmland, orchard, and horse property before settling into its current life as a wedding venue, and that history still shows in the seven timber cabins that line its tree edge, each fitted with its own kitchenette, gas fireplace, and front porch. Couples can choose among three outdoor ceremony settings — a lily pond backed by southern mountains, a hilltop overlooking the Columbia River, or a stand of evergreens beneath windswept peaks — before gathering in the new indoor space for a reception, with room for up to 175 guests. Weddings here come with a personal venue coordinator who works with couples up to six months out, a curated collection of furniture included at no extra rental fee, and the freedom to bring in any outside vendor.

    • Spaces for 150 Guests

Hand-hewn beams from an early-1800s cabin still form the core of the Stone Cottage at Storybook Farm, a structure that predates the property's founding by more than a century. Moses Atwater and Amy Wilson were among the original settlers of the land in the early 1800s; Warren and Mary Barrett later established Storybook Farm in 1955, running a preschool and summer camp there from the early 1960s through the 1980s before Bryan and Lisa Lowrance took over the property in January 2020. Set minutes from Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina, the farm today pairs overnight cabin lodging with a dedicated outdoor event space: a covered picnic shelter and 32-by-20-foot stage inside a 27-by-72-foot pavilion, equipped with a stainless-steel prep station, brick furnace, and firepit. The space has hosted concerts, weddings, festivals, corporate conferences, and workshops, including ProgDay, described by the farm as the world's longest-running progressive rock festival. Four rental cabins on the property - Stone Cottage, Barrett Lodge, Warren's Landing, and Rick's Roost - offer additional lodging, with Warren's Landing occupying the site of the farm's former school cafeteria and classrooms.
