This structure was originally built in 1920 as a temple for the local Masonic lodge. Local architect Herbert M. Greene, who was well-known for his contributions to Dallas and Austin, designed it. Before the chapter moved, the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge #705 was used as a meeting site for nearly 80 years. It has now been renovated and made into a sophisticated event facility. This building features a total of 10,000 square feet of usable space for weddings, with event rooms spread across two floors. High wainscoting and beautiful, dark hardwood flooring are among the intricate details seen throughout the facility. Above the ballroom, gleaming chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and a big stone hearth serves as the centerpiece. Whether your gathering is small or huge, you can hold your ceremony and celebration here. It can seat up to 300 people for a cocktail function or 200 people for banquet seating. The Mason Dallas only hosts one event each day, ensuring that your wedding receives the personal attention it deserves. A venue manager will be on hand to oversee the day's activities and ensure that everything runs well. They also have a pleasant door concierge to greet your visitors and a valet service for your convenience. They set up tables and chairs for your event and let you pick your own suppliers. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. A wedding party of up to 300 people can be accommodated at this location. Couples can choose from a variety of beautiful wedding sites at Elmwood Gardens. At this location, there are four ceremony-specific sites. There is a Wedding Walk, where couples walk down the aisle to a garden gazebo beneath the beams of a rustic wooden structure.
