  Founded in 1975, the Ogden Nature Center is a nonprofit environmental education center set on a 152-acre preserve in Ogden, Utah. The land carries a layered history — used by Shoshone peoples, farmed by homesteaders for more than 70 years, and operated as an Army depot from 1941 to 1973 — before its transformation into the nature sanctuary it is today.
