Located in the JW Marriott Chicago in the city’s bustling Loop financial district, The Florentine offers an elegant yet accessible interpretation of seasonal Italian cuisine. The Florentine offers private and semi-private dining space, which can be reserved for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our versatile spaces provide the perfect venue for every occasion – business dinners, cocktail receptions, and post wedding brunches alike. Our large Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated dinner, and 90 for a reception. The space can be reserved as one large room, or two separate spaces for smaller events. The room features two 42” Plasma TVs, as well as access to our surround sound system, which can be connected to a personal iPhone. In our main dining area, semi-private spaces accommodating 12-50 guests can be reserved for an intimate dinner, or a larger cocktail reception. The Florentine Bar can also be reserved for cocktail receptions up to 130 guests.

Convene 311 W Monroe provides a white box space allowing for client and event branding opportunities, in-house catering with customization options and dining private to each event, in-room A/V technology supported by an on-site team, and dedicated hospitality resources. MAD Social is a neighborhood kitchen & gathering place in the heart of the West Loop. The elevated yet approachable venue space features a rustic, industrial chic interior, which provides the perfect backdrop for eclectic shareable plates & creative cocktails. MAD Social is available for full buy out, and their event menus and packages are customizable. Adolfo Garcia oversaw the design of MAD Social and has kept it true to its warehouse roots, while bringing a French industrial chic feel to the space. An intimate and refined place, MAD Social has 65 seats in the dining room, 12 at the bar and will offer outdoor seating in the patio space during warmer months. In keeping with the industrial past of the West Loop neighborhood, Garcia used “1900’s warehouse” as a design inspiration. He utilized the natural elements in the space, like the original timber ceilings and hardwood flooring. Leftover wood from the buildout was reclaimed and re-used. Guests will see it incorporated throughout MAD Social's dining room from the table tops to focal point art pieces, including a jigsaw-esque design on the front of the bar and an oversized wooden mosaic piece on the east wall.
