Private Dining by Sepia offers a unique venue for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and small weddings. Michelin-starred Sepia restaurant, located next door to the private dining room, may be available for a full buyout on select dates. Stephanie Izard was born in the city of Chicago in the state of Illinois. She was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, and went on to the University of Michigan and Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona before returning to Chicago in 2000 to pursue her culinary profession. She opened her first restaurant, Scylla, in Bucktown in 2004 after working under some of Chicago's best chefs (Jean-Georges Vongerichten at Vong; Sean McClain at Spring; Dale Levitski at La Tache). She had the opportunity to participate on Bravo's Top Chef a few years later, and she won as well as being selected fan favorite. Stephanie met her business partners, Rob and Kevin of BOKA Restaurant Group, and the idea for Girl & the Goat began to take shape. The restaurant debuted in Summer 2010 after great thought and consideration was given to the location in the West Loop. Just a few years later, Stephanie opened Little Goat Diner across the street, followed by Duck Duck Goat on Fulton Market in 2016. The James Beard Foundation nominated Girl & the Goat for best new restaurant in 2011, and Izard received the Beard award for Best Chef Great Lakes in 2013. In 2010, she was named one of Food & Wine Magazine's "Best New Chefs." Kevin Boehm and Rob Katz, James Beard award-winning restaurateurs, have become one of the country's most successful owner/operators after creating 20 profitable restaurants over two decades. BLVD is a modern American restaurant located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood that draws inspiration from Hollywood’s Sunset Blvd circa 1950: the golden era’s most iconic strip of dining and entertainment establishments. Our space combines the glamour, luxury, and decadence that defined Hollywood in the 1950s with contemporary cuisine, cocktails, and music that bring guests back to the here and now, creating an exciting dichotomy between restaurants and personas of the past and present.

It began rather modestly, more than a century ago, when a small group of college alumni formed the founding charter. Their goal was a simple one - to create an environment in which excellence thrives and develop a place where they, their guests and all future members could draw upon the sustaining values of a common educational experience. Here, at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Monroe Street at the eastern gateway to the city, they established a permanent residence for their shared ideals. Through the generations, this magnificent 12-story structure has provided a stimulating atmosphere where members conduct business, gather socially and expand culturally.
