Rancho de las Palmas is a family-owned estate set across 395 private acres in the hills of Ventura County, just outside Moorpark. For nearly four decades, the family behind it has welcomed couples and guests onto grounds that feel a little removed from everything else, with tropical gardens, cascading waterfalls, palm-lined paths, and a quiet lagoon that catches the light at the end of the day. Both outdoor and indoor spaces accommodate up to 230 guests, which makes room for intimate gatherings and full celebrations alike. Ceremonies unfold in the gardens, and receptions carry into spaces that stay comfortable in every season. In-house catering comes from DJ's California Catering, so the food is handled with the same care as everything else on the property. The venue is also home to The Estate House, a five-bedroom home on the property that hosts bridal and baby showers, birthday celebrations, and smaller gatherings, and gives wedding parties a place to stay and get ready close to the celebration. Beyond weddings, the estate hosts corporate events, private parties, milestone celebrations, and film and photo productions. The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a one-of-a-kind 127-acre botanical garden and historical attraction in the midst of Arcadia's historic Rancho Santa Anita. Would you like to host your next event at the Arboretum's lovely and serene setting? Weddings, photography, videography, corporate gatherings, and special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, and showers can all be carried out at various locations throughout this beautiful park. For wedding ceremonies or celebrations, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden provides a naturally stunning and distinctive venue. The Bauer Lawn (with its surrounding fountains), the Queen Anne Cottage lawn, the Rose Garden, the Waterfall/Meadowbrook, and the Celebration Garden are also popular spots. Our romantic Rose Garden, tropical waterfall, and lush flowers and plants make for a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. Our wedding season runs from April until October, when the clocks change for Daylight Savings. After 5:00 p.m., all ceremonies and receptions commence.
