Farmington Polo Club sits on 80 acres in the heart of Connecticut's Farmington Valley. This historic equestrian estate looks out over manicured polo fields, gardens and Avon Mountain. It's home to the Hunter/Jumper and Polo disciplines, and exhibition polo matches run on summer Saturdays from June through September. After nine months of restoration by Village Green Investments, the building opened as an event venue in September 2015, preserving three original bank vaults as a nod to its storied past alongside thoroughly modernized amenities. The venue offers two reception rooms suited to a range of event sizes. The larger room accommodates up to 150 guests seated or 250 for cocktail-style receptions; the smaller room fits up to 50 seated or 100 cocktail-style. For wedding receptions with a dance floor, the venue hosts up to 130 guests. 19Main books only one event per day, ensuring exclusive use of the full space from morning through midnight. Weddings, social events, and corporate gatherings are all welcome. Outside caterers and vendors may be brought in with prior approval, and the dedicated event coordinator — on-site since 2016 — supports planning from initial booking through the final hour of the event.
