Ari brings his catering and culinary experience to The Elan, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to the table. When he was a student at the Berklee School of Music, he began working in the food and events sector, and eventually went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America, the nation's premier culinary school. In the years after graduating from culinary school, he has honed his abilities by working under some of the world's most celebrated chefs, including Steven Starr (Buddakhan) and Rocco D'Spirito (Union Pacific). Ari's most recent position was as General Manager of Sterling Affair, a high-end New York City off-premise catering firm that counts among its clientele members of the Rockefeller family as well as Columbia and Fordham Universities. There, he honed his management and event planning abilities even further, bringing his distinct flair and exceptional service to each and every event he planned and managed while also gaining valuable experience. Nestled along the world-renowned Battenkill River in Shushan, New York, The Georgi Park and Museum sits on nine acres of lush lawns and gorgeous gardens just west of the Vermont border. The Battenkill wraps around the property on nearly all sides, creating a naturally serene setting framed by a row of 60-plus-year-old hydrangea trees and a canopy of oak, chestnut, apple, and basswood. Originally bequeathed to the Town of Salem in 1989 by Jessie Georgi, the property combines a riverside community park with a museum housing Italian panel paintings and a mineral collection. The estate's main venues span a range of group sizes. Tally Ho Hall, a 4,031-square-foot multi-purpose venue with a large stage and professional sound system, accommodates up to 500 guests for receptions and 285 for banquets. Mohawk Studio, a multi-purpose space with hardwood floors and new lighting structures, seats up to 160 and hosts receptions for up to 275. The Belvedere Estate, situated on more than 25 acres in Westchester County, is a one-of-a-kind property. The estate consists of a large house and many smaller structures scattered over the grounds, all of which include excellent historical elements from the 1920s. A wooded region and cliff with views of the broad Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge provide a range of lovely and peaceful vistas. The Belvedere was once part of Philipsburg Manor, a 90,000-acre property and one of America's richest landholdings, and was built in the 1910s. Dr. Philip Gillette Cole bought it in 1928 and renamed it Zeeview. It was built by Florence and Casper Whitney and purchased by Dr. Philip Gillette Cole in 1928. The home at Zeeview looked out over the huge Hudson River and the "Tappan Zee" with ease. The Coles erected the Agora House and the Studio on the land and displayed their significant collection of American Western art, which was ultimately moved to the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The estate was purchased by Samuel Bronfman of the Seagrams Whiskey dynasty after Cole's death. After the Bronfmans' primary mansion in Toronto, the property was christened Belvedere.
