Maggie Daley Park is one of Chicago's newest locations. It's home to several different types of event venue spaces including; the fieldhouse, lawn space, picnic groves, and the Cancer Survivors' Garden. It also has unique amenities in the quarter of a mile Skating Ribbon, 19,000 square foot rock climbing walls, three acre Play Garden complete with Enchanted Forest, eighteen holes of mini golf and the two and a half acre Cancer Survivors' Garden. Located between Lakeshore Drive and Millennium Park downtown Chicago, it's views include the Chicago Skyline, Museum Campus, and Lake Michigan.

It was originally constructed in 1892 as a Czech meeting hall and is now a historically significant building that has been landmarked. As of the year 2013, it has reopened and been re-imagined as a modern day town hall; a central meeting place with a tavern called Dusek's Board & Beer, two bars called Punch House and Tack Room, and a world-class performance space called Thalia Hall. The term "16" on Center comes from the construction industry and refers to a center mark that produces the most durable build.
