It is a large building worthy of the city's prominence as a national railroad center. The spectacular event facilities at Chicago Union Station will transport you and your guests to a special era in our city's history, one steeped in historical glamor and bursting with excitement and energy. Organize your event at a one-of-a-kind location. This Beaux-Arts station's meticulously refurbished event halls are ideal for every size and style of occasion, from small corporate meetings to big galas and weddings. The Great Hall In 2019, a $22 million restoration of the Great Hall was finished, returning the area to its original colors and brightening it with a repaired and protected skylight. The North Great Hall or the South Great Hall can be rented. Depending on the date and approval, the entire space may be available. The Burlington Room This unusual chamber, which was once a women's waiting room and beauty parlor, has been closed to the public and utilized as a railroad "paper storage" in recent decades. Fortunately for us, the area was painstakingly rebuilt in 2016 and relaunched as a private event venue known as The Burlington Room. The room's magnificent ceiling, champagne-colored columns, and French block murals have been painstakingly restored to their early 19th century luxury, ready to enchant guests with an old-world grandeur that is unique in Chicago. Founders Room This lovely area was once the Legacy Club, a members-only lounge that was open to the public for a daily or monthly charge. In 2019, it was converted to private event space as part of Union Station's expansion of event spaces. This lovely space, now known as the Founders Room, has towering ceilings, great workmanship, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for any gathering. Pennsylvania Room On the second floor of the Metropolitan Lounge sits the famous Pennsylvania Room. The Pennsylvania Room is easily accessible from Canal Street and provides polished, sophisticated surroundings to its guests. Events of all sizes are welcome, but we can't help but think that the venue is especially well-suited for early evening cocktail parties and late night after-parties, thanks to its sleek setting and ample seating possibilities. Adams Street Balcony This beautiful balcony, which overlooks the magnificence of Union Station, is the ultimate urban environment. This area is located at the station's Adams Street entrance and provides access to an outdoor patio that is ideal for an indoor/outdoor event, cocktail hour, or reception.

Haymarket Pub & Brewery is a brewpub and event venue located at 737 W Randolph St in Chicago's Randolph Street corridor. The name pays tribute to Chicago's Haymarket Square — site of the 1886 Haymarket Affair, a labor demonstration that helped establish the eight-hour workday and inspired May Day observances around the world. That history informs the brewery's identity as a place for working people of all kinds, a welcoming spot to gather after a long day. The venue's private event space, The Haymarket Tavern, accommodates semi-private gatherings of up to 40 guests in a reserved section of the back bar and dining room, or full buyouts for groups of 100 or more — with complete venue buyouts available for up to 350 guests. The space comes equipped with two pool tables, two dart boards, seven flat-screen TVs, a 100-inch HD projector screen, and a full sound system. Haymarket's kitchen offers buffet packages, à la carte banquet options, and beverage packages, with food and beverage minimums that vary by date and season.

Our outside garden can seat up to 20 people, or our back dining room with views of the garden can seat up to 30 people for a seated meal and 40 people for passed hors d'oeuvres. A complete restaurant buyout can seat 60 people for a seated dinner or 80 people for a cocktail reception. On Tuesday through Thursday evenings, we can accommodate up to ten visitors, and on Friday and Saturday evenings, we can accept up to six guests. Musket Room is a well-known local restaurant that consistently provides a sumptuous dining experience, whether it's for a special occasion or a supper with friends. Since 2013, the Michelin-starred restaurant has been dedicated to providing the kind of attentive, customized service that makes regulars feel like family and newcomers feel at home. Chef Mary Attea heads a culinary team that draws on their diverse backgrounds, international travels, and personal preferences to create vibrant flavors and imaginative recipes that defy categorization. As a result, cuisine is transported in a pleasant, elegant atmosphere with a long bar, intimate nooks, and a big garden for al fresco dining. Mary Attea is the Executive Chef at The Musket Room in Manhattan's Nolita area, a Michelin-starred restaurant. In February 2020, Attea took over the head of The Musket Room, ushering in a tectonic shift in the restaurant's genre from New Zealand cuisine (which it had been known for since its establishment in 2013) to a more globally-inspired menu. When the pandemic struck the following month, she played a critical role in assisting the all-female ownership and management team in weathering the storm and maintaining their Michelin star. She draws on her extensive fine-dining experience as well as her family's culinary memories to create menus that defy categorization, deftly fusing Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Asian, and new American influences into dishes that are completely unique while remaining firmly rooted in their histories.

Chef Trevor Teich is a Chicago native who has worked at some of the country's top restaurants, including L2O (which has three Michelin stars), NoMi (which has one star), Acadia (which has two stars), as well as Twist by Pierre Gagnaire in Las Vegas, where he is currently the executive chef (Gagnaire was voted best chef in the world in 2015 by Le Chef List of The Best Chefs in the World). CLAUDIA is his latest culinary venture, and it brings his culinary perspective to Chicago. Gaijin by Chef Paul Virant is Chicago’s first okonomiyaki restaurant, offering both Hiroshima and Osaka styles of the savory Japanese pancake. A self-described gaijin, or “outsider” in Japanese, Virant playfully embraces this perspective and honors traditional preparations and techniques, as well as his well-known passion for pickling and preserving. Designed to deliver a lively and interactive culinary experience, the 60-seat space is anchored by a custom 12-foot griddle and chef’s counter and offers individual Hiroshima teppan griddles for table service. The dessert menu features kakigori, a shaved ice dessert, along with mochi donuts and other Japanese-inspired treats. The bar program showcases highballs and a focused selection of beer – including a Moody Tongue-Gaijin collaboration house lager, sake, Japanese whisky, and wine. We can’t wait to see you at Gaijin!

Chicago Theater Works is available for rental and is the perfect venue for a unique event. We love parties, fundraisers, film screenings, wedding receptions, corporate off-site and more… Our facility can accommodate up to 180 for a sit-down dinner, play, recital, screening… to 200+ for a stand-up reception. ​ Furnishings: We have 220 black banquet chairs, six 24” rounds, twenty 48” rounds, six 60” rounds, a buffet table and several 6’ tables and two high-tops. We also have six sections of 12’ pipe with black drape. ​ Food and Beverage: Northshore Catering is our in-house caterer and they are amazing. You are welcome to work with them or bring in your own food. For catering we have a staging kitchen with 3-compartment sink, commercial refrigerator, ice maker, convection oven, microwave and stainless prep table. There is an extra charge for using the kitchen. We require that all beverage be purchased through our full bar. Our prices range from $3 for soft drinks, $6 to 8 for beer, $7 to 9 for spirits and $6 to 9 for wine. We can do a host bar or cash or credit for guests. Sound, Lights, Stage and Tech: The space features a 16’ x 10’ stage with a simple light plot, board and spotlight. We have video projection capabilities and a wide format screen. We also have several wired and wireless microphones and a plug in play sound system. The venue also has wifi. Depending on the extent of your tech needs there may be an extra charge to have our tech person on-site. Location: We are located in Lakeview on Belmont between Sheffield and Racine. We are two blocks east of the Red, Brown and Purple lines. We are also on multiple 27/7 bus routes. A nearby parking lot is available for an extra charge. The venue has two large bathrooms and two private, unisex bathrooms. There is also a dressing room with iron, steamer, washer and dryer. We always have a staff member and, if needed, bartender available for your event.

Located in Avondale along the Rockwell Corridor, our facility is designed to accommodate a wide range of events for groups large and small. Built around an open air courtyard, the Guild Row campus features a teaching kitchen, a woodshop, a live fire cooking station, a members lounge with a full café and bar, a co-working space, a small library, and an ultra-flexible dynamic space perfect for gatherings and events of all kinds. Our facility boasts high volume spaces, industrial aesthetics and bespoke hand-hewn details. Each room at Guild Row has a unique personality drawn from its historic past and artisanal capacities. Private bookings include local control of temperature, sound & lighting systems, and overhead doors that connect each interior room to our exterior courtyard. Guild Row started when three people decided to build something together. Beginning in 2016, Mike Healy, Jim Lasko and Elyse Agnello met around Jim's kitchen table on Tuesday nights for nearly two years. While the location is new, Eden is still focused on the same approach of using garden-fresh, seasonal ingredients from our upgraded on-site greenhouse and local farms. We have also expanded our menu to include breakfast and lunch options to provide convenient and delicious options throughout the day. Eden is ever-evolving, with a menu that embraces seasonal flavors that cultivate inside our on-site greenhouse or sourced locally from farmers and purveyors. With Partner & Chief Culinary Officer Devon Quinn at the helm, private dining available, market items & home goods, and a bar with specialty crafted cocktails, eden is unlike any other restaurant in Chicago. Eden focuses on a minimal use of ingredients, with an approach based on restraint and subtraction. These ingredients are curated by the chefs on a daily and weekly basis through our own farming or local markets and farms. Utilizing our greenhouse, we grow plants and flowers that add beauty and robust, clean flavors. Being active in farmers’ markets and going to farms, the chefs are able to see, touch, and smell ingredients to select items of the highest quality.
