Vizcaya Sacramento is a full-service wedding and special event venue set within a designated historical landmark in the Curtis Park neighborhood of Sacramento, California. The 6,500-square-foot white colonial revival mansion, built in 1889, combines Victorian architecture with year-round indoor and outdoor event spaces suited for weddings, receptions, and private gatherings of up to 240 guests. The venue's primary indoor space, the Vizcaya Pavilion, features artesian stained glass lighting, soaring ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, the Courtyard and East Patio provide intimate settings for ceremonies and cocktail hours, dressed with market lighting. With more than 20 years of coordinating weddings for the Sacramento community, Vizcaya offers customizable menus crafted by an in-house chef alongside dedicated event planning assistance from initial consultation through day-of execution. Channel Islands Boat Cruises operates two private event vessels — the Scarlett Belle and the Starlight — docked at Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, California. In operation since 2008, the company specializes in all-inclusive private party packages for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, and themed celebrations. The Scarlett Belle is a paddlewheel riverboat that accommodates up to 150 guests across two spacious decks. It cruises slowly through the calm, protected waters of Channel Islands Harbor, offering panoramic harbor views throughout the event. The Starlight, a larger vessel with three levels, stays docked and accommodates up to 150 guests as well, providing a stable setting with flexible space arrangements across its decks. Both vessels are fully enclosed, weather-protected, and wheelchair accessible at the main deck level. All-inclusive packages cover catered dining, a full-service bar, DJ, and linens in multiple color options. Standard events run three hours; weddings typically four. Fairview Metropolitan is a wedding and event venue set on the grounds of Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland, California — a public golf course with sweeping views of the San Francisco skyline and East Bay hills. Located at 10051 Doolittle Drive, the property pairs a scenic outdoor ceremony site adjacent to the fairways with a fully enclosed reception pavilion, accommodating gatherings from 50 to 225 guests. The pavilion features wall-to-wall carpeting, a built-in dance floor, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of the golf course and Bay Area sunsets. The Outdoor Art Club, which is located in downtown Mill Valley, is a private, non-profit women's organization that was established in 1902. Its 35 founding members, who were inspired by the "City Beautiful" urban design movement of the 1890s, set out to promote the civic value of public parks and natural outdoor spaces in Mill Valley. Today, our members continue to advocate for conservation and open space preservation, as well as supporting the cultural arts and other civic endeavors that contribute to the vitality of the Mill Valley neighborhood. Participation in the club is only possible through sponsorship by an existing member. The clubhouse of the Outdoor Art Club, designed in 1904 by renowned architect Bernard Maybeck, is a National Historic Landmark and has been designated as such. It is available for public use on a rental basis. Private events can be held at the Outdoor Art Club, which can be rented out. The rental rates for Saturdays in 2022 are $6,000, and the rates for Fridays and Sundays are $5,000. The rental rates for Saturdays in 2023 are $6,500, and the rates for Fridays and Sundays are $5,500. Prices are subject to change without notice. Before renting a room, you must take a tour of the club with a docent. Tours are only available on Saturdays between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and they must be scheduled in advance. Cottonwood Canyon Vineyard & Winery is a 78-acre estate winery situated about 10 minutes east of Santa Maria, California, at the northern edge of the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail in Santa Barbara County. Established in 1988 by the Beko family, the property is surrounded by the San Rafael Mountains and benefits from a cool, marine-influenced climate just 19 miles from the Pacific Ocean — conditions that shape its signature Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. The estate was the first in Santa Barbara County to construct wine caves, and those caves remain a defining feature of the property today.
