Chef Stephen Finney has a diverse culinary background, ranging from learning at Bistrot Saveurs in Castres, France, to bringing his skills to Chicago. In 2015, Finney was promoted to lead line cook at Sociale, and afterwards to Sous Chef at Gather, where he worked under highly regarded Chef Ken Carter. He was promoted to Sous Chef at MONEYGUN in 2019. We're fortunate to have him here today at 90th Meridian. Let us host your event! The Old Post Office Then The Old Post Office is composed of three buildings, the first completed in 1921, with its current form completed in 1934. Its capacity was needed to serve Chicago's great volume of postal business, inflated by the mail-order businesses of Montgomery, Ward, and Sears. ARCHITECTS: Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White The Old Post Office Now The historic art deco structure is 12 stories tall, with a total of 2,500,000 square feet of office-lead mixed-use develop- ment. The completed structure is home to more than 12 event spaces, including the Historic Lobby, which has been restored to its original state, and a 3.5-acre rooftop called the Meadow.

Ideally situated in Chicagoʼs Pilsen neighborhood, Lacuna Events by LM offers a truly unique setting for your next event. Built in 1897 as what once was the worldʼs largest macaroni factory, the 5 story, 250,000 sq. ft. space maintains much of the original charm as the building has been carefully restored using a variety of the original materials. Lacuna Events by LM is also home to many talented Chicago artists and their one of a kind creations can be found throughout building and used as decor for private events. In the Summer months, the rooftop provides stunning views of the cityʼs skyline and is perfect for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail reception. Every event at Lacuna is catered by our in-house caterer, LM Catering & Events, who expertly handles all food and beverage needs as well as acting as the on-site event management team. The culinary team of experts at LM will work with you to build your menu using only the freshest and most seasonal ingredients.

Chicago Theater Works is available for rental and is the perfect venue for a unique event. We love parties, fundraisers, film screenings, wedding receptions, corporate off-site and more… Our facility can accommodate up to 180 for a sit-down dinner, play, recital, screening… to 200+ for a stand-up reception. ​ Furnishings: We have 220 black banquet chairs, six 24” rounds, twenty 48” rounds, six 60” rounds, a buffet table and several 6’ tables and two high-tops. We also have six sections of 12’ pipe with black drape. ​ Food and Beverage: Northshore Catering is our in-house caterer and they are amazing. You are welcome to work with them or bring in your own food. For catering we have a staging kitchen with 3-compartment sink, commercial refrigerator, ice maker, convection oven, microwave and stainless prep table. There is an extra charge for using the kitchen. We require that all beverage be purchased through our full bar. Our prices range from $3 for soft drinks, $6 to 8 for beer, $7 to 9 for spirits and $6 to 9 for wine. We can do a host bar or cash or credit for guests. Sound, Lights, Stage and Tech: The space features a 16’ x 10’ stage with a simple light plot, board and spotlight. We have video projection capabilities and a wide format screen. We also have several wired and wireless microphones and a plug in play sound system. The venue also has wifi. Depending on the extent of your tech needs there may be an extra charge to have our tech person on-site. Location: We are located in Lakeview on Belmont between Sheffield and Racine. We are two blocks east of the Red, Brown and Purple lines. We are also on multiple 27/7 bus routes. A nearby parking lot is available for an extra charge. The venue has two large bathrooms and two private, unisex bathrooms. There is also a dressing room with iron, steamer, washer and dryer. We always have a staff member and, if needed, bartender available for your event.

DL Studio contains an Instagram worthy, professionally styled, party space. 10 foot floral wall, overflowing balloon fireplace, champagne phone, lip wall, and more. Fully furnished with gorgeous white furniture, flokati throws, and crystal chandeliers. Chic styled art bar for all fabulous occasions DL Studio is complete with 3 swanky lounge areas and 5 dining tables complete with ghost chairs and white linens. You an host either a cocktail style party with 60 guests or a seated dinner party, with 45 guests, in our even space at DL Studio.
