The Donald E. Nielsen Community Center opened in 2008 as a full-service events facility in West Point, Nebraska. The center encompasses more than 19,000 square feet of meeting and event space, built to accommodate everything from small business meetings to large-scale conventions and celebrations. The heart of the facility is the CharterWest Ballroom complex, a divisible space that accommodates up to 800 guests banquet-style or 1,300 in presentation layout when all sections are open. Individual ballroom sections range from 90 to 600 seats, making the center well suited for wedding receptions, anniversary dinners, graduation parties, and corporate events alike. The F&M Foyer — a 37-by-60-foot covered entrance and pre-function space — seats up to 300 guests on its own, while two Citizens State meeting rooms handle smaller groups of up to 87. Throughout the facility, in-house audio and visual equipment, including screens, projectors, and a 35-foot-wide stage, supports presentations and performances.

The Players Club is Omaha's only 27-hole private golf facility, designed by PGA Tour legend Arnold Palmer and set across 350 acres of Nebraska farmland in the city's northwest corridor. The clubhouse serves as the setting for a full range of private events — from corporate receptions and award dinners to weddings, rehearsal dinners, and bridal showers — and membership is not required to book. Two ballroom spaces accommodate events of different sizes. The intimate ballroom features a gas fireplace and built-in bar, welcoming gatherings of up to 75 guests. The larger ballroom is flooded with natural light and opens onto a wraparound deck overlooking the golf course, seating up to 160 for a formal dinner. An Executive Boardroom is also available for smaller business meetings. In-house catering, in-house AV, a dedicated event coordinator, and a banquet captain are included with every event, covering setup, linens, dance floor, meal planning, and cleanup from start to finish.

Haymarket Square offers three event venues in Lincoln's Historic Haymarket District: the North Apothecary Loft, the South Apothecary Loft, and the Ridnour Room. All three spaces are situated at 140 N. 8th Street, bringing together the district's historic architecture with the amenities that private events require. The North and South Apothecary Lofts occupy the fifth floor of the Apothecary Building, each featuring brick and timber construction, oak woodwork, and polished brass fixtures. Both lofts include a great room with a fireplace, a studio-bedroom retreat with a king-size bed and whirlpool, and a full kitchen. Food and beverage are not bundled with the room rental, giving clients full flexibility over their catering arrangements. The Ridnour Room is a 7,000-square-foot reception facility on the first floor, entered through a formal grand entrance in the Apothecary Lobby. It seats up to 285 guests and is equipped with a large dance floor with a built-in DJ booth, customizable LED lighting, stacked stone backdrops, round tables, and gold and white Chiavari chairs. A commercial kitchen, separate buffet setup room, and on-site event coordinator assistance are also available. The space is handicap accessible from the P Street entrance.

The AKRS Champions Club is an event venue owned and operated by the Nebraska Alumni Association, located steps from the west entrance of Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. Open to the public for private event rental, the club accommodates groups of 15 to 325 guests for community and campus events, weddings, conferences, and seminars. The club's signature space, the Great Hall, seats up to 325 guests for a served dinner and hosts up to 550 for cocktail receptions, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering close-up views of Memorial Stadium. A veranda off the Great Hall extends the setting. Every room rental includes audio-visual equipment and technical support, a dance floor, and an on-site event manager. The venue partners with a selection of local caterers and provides up to 400 parking stalls for evening and weekend events.

The hotel's interior atrium, marked by two cascading waterfalls, provides a distinctive setting for cocktail receptions and pre-event gatherings. The Wick Alumni Center is a 30,000-square-foot contemporary building completed in 1985 by award-winning New York firm Gwathmey/Siegel & Associates and named for Milton I. Wick, a 1922 University of Nebraska graduate. Home to the Nebraska Alumni Association, the three-story structure sits at the corner of 16th and R Streets in downtown Lincoln, entered through a raised garden with a reflecting pool and walls of Vermont slate. The centerpiece of the building is the Pascale Great Hall, defined by three-story cathedral ceilings, rich mahogany paneling, two dramatic staircases, a second-level mezzanine, and oversized windows. The Great Hall accommodates 180 guests for seated banquets or up to 300 for cocktail receptions and classroom-style events. Five additional rooms — including the Dana Room, Steinhart Conference Room, and Seacrest Library — offer flexibility for smaller gatherings, corporate retreats, and meetings. All room rentals include audio/visual equipment and support, a dance floor, and an on-site event manager. Four local catering partners are available to work with event hosts. The center is open to anyone for rental — no membership affiliation is required.
